The Secret of the Power. A Review of Frozen II, by. Jessica Kim

Frozen II can be known as one of Disney’s greatest creations. It was released at the end of 2019, and was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who had also directed the original Frozen as well. Jennifer Lee, Hans Christian Andersen, and Chris Buck wrote the story, and Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) played the voices. The whole animation is about Elsa, Anna, Christoff, and Olaf having an adventure in the enchanted forest, a place with four spirits who helped the Northuldra people in the past, but now they are capturing people to stay. Northuldras are people who have been living inside the enchanted forest, and they respect nature. Inside the forest, they meet two groups fighting against each other, who are Arendelle's army and the Northuldra people, and start the journey to face the past. This movie was very enjoyable for me because I really like fantasy with lots of action, just like this one.

In the movie, I think the best part of it was the details of the motion and magic. The characters' actions were so realistic that it looks like someone is playing it. There are lots of magical effects in the film, and Disney has shown it well. If you just see it for once, then you will realize that they had put a lot of effort into designing and putting details. There were many songs inside the movie, and all of them had their own color. It helped me feel about their feelings and gave more about the situation. Unfortunately, there were some parts that looked like it was from the original Frozen as well, like the part when Elsa was frozen, the motion just looked like when Anna freezes in the last movie. You might think that the story about finding the hidden past is boring and not something new, but if you see the details of it, you will absolutely change your mind. It has a lot of backstories about the main characters each getting what they want, and showing their own journey across the enchanted forest. They had passed the trial and had earned their happy ending. There might be more messages than I think of, but I think the main message of the movie would be: good things might not be easy with lots of benefits, but never give up on them, and take another step.

I’ve always liked Disney’s movies, and I was very excited to see the new series of Frozen, which was very fun as well. It was one of the greatest movies that I’d seen with huge actions, music following the situations, and an exciting story about finding the hidden past. It’s a pity that there are some scenes where it looks like it’s from the last movie. I’ll give 4.5 out of 5 potatoes. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes Disney movies, but I also recommend this movie to people who like fantasy movies or action movies.
